為關注情緒病問題寫一首歌，何以不寫一首鼓勵加油的歌？
只因為，鼓勵加油，患者還聽得少嗎？患者最缺乏的，其實是外人的理解，明白他們何以加不成油，何以會有控制不來的情緒及偏激的想法。

《一追再追》不是另一首意圖催人淚下的傷情歌，只望有心人能從字裡行間，看出我嘗試從一個情緒病患者的心態去看待感情問題（當然，也可以延伸到生活生命的層面），這歌才會灰暗到不近人情。
如果你是情緒病的過來人，聽完這歌情緒更洶湧，沒關係，情緒需要發洩、需要被理解。這起碼證實了歌中人無以解釋的絕望，其實也有許多人與你感同身受。至於有心人，你們能由此而更容易理解患上情緒病的身邊人嗎？理解之後，又該如何照顧他們的感受？

對情緒病困惑的答案，我們一追之後，又有沒有再追下去？

《一追再追》是一首未完的歌，結局？結局就憑過來人與有心人的努力去決定。

「哥哥的離去帶給我們很多的痛，但其實也喚醒了我們對抑鬱症的正視。為什麼我們要正視而不能逃避？為什麼更要去醫治？希望透過這歌令更多人更快去醫治它！所以很多謝「家連家」找我唱這首歌「追」的延續篇《一追再追》，讓我能以自己作為見證! 因我也可從抑鬱症的苦難裏走出來，所以希望藉著我，藉著林夕的詞，Dick Lee 的曲，帶給情緒病者及其家人的一種鼓勵，

其實是有出路，其實是可以好得番的！

這首歌是一個患上抑鬱的人走不出去的痛及感覺，但其實這不是不治之証，只要你願意被人幫助，是絕對可以好的！我寄望透過《一追再追》可以籌到些善款去幫助家連家，並藉著我的歌及我的經歷，令周遭的人均可對抑鬱有更大的理解與包容！」
